My main objectives in writing, co-authoring, and editing the books listed are basically to introduce analytically-inclined North American philosophers and students of philosophy to the work of Michel Foucault, and to consider some of the difficult questions posed by assisted suicide and euthanasia. These are very different topics, and I don't want to suggest that there is anything that connects them, but both have concerned me for some years.
